Would you like to join us in the English Lake District, a World Heritage site, for a weekend of trail running amongst some of the country’s most beautiful landscapes?

We have planned a number of wonderful weekends of trail running in the very heart of the Lake District on trails that we know and love; we return to them time and time again for our own pleasure and can’t wait to share them with you.

Our weekends are based at a variety of locations around the Lake District, carefully selected so that we can offer top quality running terrain combined with superb accommodation at easy-to-reach destinations. We can broadly offer three types of holiday ‘ No frills’/Bunkhouse-style, great quality three star, or high quality luxury hotel – you can see details through our booking site SiEntries below. Whether it’s a mid-week break, a weekend, or a stag/hen do with a difference we can deliver an amazing holiday for you.

The weekends are designed for people who are new (or relatively new) to trail running; you will have done some running and want to improve or leave the roads behind for the first time. On Saturday we will usually be running between 15 and 20km, but please don’t be intimidated by the distances; all of our runs are very sociable with plenty of time for stopping, catching your breath, admiring the scenery and taking some photographs. On Sunday, we will, location depending, offer two runs; one between 10 and 15km and the other, for those who want to do slightly less, somewhere between 7 and 10km. The terrain for both days will be mixed, with some ups and downs, but we want you to have fun whilst you are with us so we won’t be running up any mountains and there will always be plenty of stops. More details can be found on the relevant location links below:

A general itinerary for any of our weekends would look something like this;

The Pilates sessions are designed specifically to prepare you for the run ahead or to help you recover from your runs and prepare you for the next day.

The price of the weekend includes accommodation, all meals from Friday evening until Sunday lunchtime, the Pilates sessions and two guided runs.
